Scope of work
Quote for supply and safely erect scaffold. Stonemason to secure over-hanging existing stonework with suitably-placed temporary Acro prop to ensure safety of scaffold workers and supervise erection of scaffold. Stonemason to then safely secure with additional Acro prop and beam. At a later date, stonemason to reinstate the stone pitching abutment of Abutment 2 with high quality dry-pack. All care taken to ensure longevity of the abutment and to historically preserve the bridge.

• Safe erection of scaffold and supervision of workers;
• High regard to safety;
• choose specific corners stones;
• ensure no running joints;
• keeping courses level;
• where no corners, length going into the wall;
• using periodically placed tie stones;
• tightly packed stones on the infill;
• every stone checked for correct contact;
• ensuring longevity of the abutment and to historically preserve the bridge
